Many of them also ignore the big PC sales boom years ago when the economy was rocking. Millions of Pentium III and slower Pentium 4 class Celeron computers are still in use today. Mozilla Firefox sucks too, as it has turned into a bloated pig. Why can't Mozilla rebadge Firefox 1.0 as HotDog so we can have a quick geko browser? I would use Mozilla HotDog! The new Firefox 3.6 is suppose to be faster, but I have not tested it yet. Thank goodness we have Midori, Arora, Netsurf, Opera, and Chromium browsers. My favorite is the Midori 2.2 browser, as it is stable and 4X faster than Firefox 3.5! Using Midori makes dial-up feel twice as fast! Update! I just upgraded to Firefox 3.6 on my Celeron PIII computer with Arch Linux, and it is fast! It is three times as fast as Firefox 3.5 and works great on my old box.

Adobe Flash sucks too, but we really don't have another reliable flash choice yet. Why do you need an 128mb video card for Flash to work on Linux? Linux must be a low priority at Adobe, because they can make flash video work great on cell phones and small handheld devices that have limited video hardware. Could Adobe port "FlashLite" to work on the Linux desktop? I just pray that Gnash can replace Adobe flash soon. If you want to donate to a good cause, send Gnash some money.
